Heroes welcome

Are you fed up with taking photos of your bum with your mobile phone and sending them to your (soon to be ex-) girlfriend?

If so, why not get involved in Blind Ditch’s latest wheeze - a performance installation called Who Wants To Be A Hero Now?, showing as part of the Exeter tEXt Festival, at the Exeter Phoenix Gallery from April 24 to May 14.

All you have to do is send a video message or a digital camera mpeg to 07890 801203 or contact@blindditch.org.

Your witty and profound statements on the nature of heroism will then be curated and available online at blindditch.org  and at the Phoenix for the duration of the project.

The good news is the installation is open to anyone in the entire world, so we’re looking forward to a deluge of German entries singing the praises of  David Hasselhoff.

See textfest.com for more details. Don’t be one of those people who stand in the darkness, afraid to step into the light…
