Pinko purchasers from the People’s Republic will love the fair trade market being held in Plymouth city centre this weekend.
Taking place in Frankfort Gate from Friday to Sunday, the event will see 15 stallholders flogging their wares between 9am and 5.30pm daily (and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday).
You can get fair trade honey, clothing from Nepal, Peruvian handicrafts and, of course, an incredibly smug feeling that will last the entire weekend.
Priceless.

Our idea of ‘extreme sport’ is spilling red wine on our girlfriend’s carpet during a hard-fought game of Scrabble, but if you’re a thrill seeker looking for something a little more taxing you should get hold of the free South West England Adventure Guide.
Available from the Tourist Information Centres across the South West, the new 36-page guide is invaluable for either the hapless beginner or yer hardened extreme-sport enthusiast with a goatee and bad shorts.
A variety of activities are included in the guide; from hot air ballooning, coasteering, canoeing, surfing, and wave-skiing to inland activities ranging from quad biking to abseiling - all of which, you’ll be pleased to note, are very dangerous indeed.
And if that’s not enough, there’s also more gnarly adventure ideas plus accommodation suggestions and events in the South West on www.adventuresw.co.uk
Er, dude.
