Risky business
April 7th, 2006
Our idea of ‘extreme sport’ is spilling red wine on our girlfriend’s carpet during a hard-fought game of Scrabble, but if you’re a thrill seeker looking for something a little more taxing you should get hold of the free South West England Adventure Guide.
Available from the Tourist Information Centres across the South West, the new 36-page guide is invaluable for either the hapless beginner or yer hardened extreme-sport enthusiast with a goatee and bad shorts.
A variety of activities are included in the guide; from hot air ballooning, coasteering, canoeing, surfing, and wave-skiing to inland activities ranging from quad biking to abseiling - all of which, you’ll be pleased to note, are very dangerous indeed.
And if that’s not enough, there’s also more gnarly adventure ideas plus accommodation suggestions and events in the South West on www.adventuresw.co.uk
Er, dude.
