Word imperfect

Exeter’s PRSD viewers must’ve been pretty disgusted by the front page story in today’s Express & Echo.
The ghastly tale of Graham Board being found guilty of repeatedly molesting an underage girl clearly demanded a sensitive approach from the E&E staff.
The headline? ‘Christian B&B Perv Molested Underage Girl’.
Classy, guys. Classy.

Text maniac

It seems not everybody is as scathing as the People’s Republic about Paul Jeffery’s quest to be named the most popular man in the country.
Regular viewers will remember we were pretty dismissive about Paul’s humble efforts to scoop £10,000 and a trip to Australia.
So it’s lucky he has Sharpey from Plymouth to lift his spirits.
Sharpey’s comment on www.thisisplymouth.co.uk is so moving, we’re gonna reprint it in full.
“Brilliant idea! It’s about time someone from Plymouth done something like this.
“It’s about time we saw more people not taking there self so seriously. Good luck. We’ll definitely be voting for you.”
What a comfort this must be to plucky Paul in these uncertain times.
