Green fingers spread to green sleeves

The Green Tourism Business Scheme that has been such a success for the South Hams is set to be rooled out throughout the rest of south Devon. Hip, hip . . .
We have it on the top authority that ‘Businesses in the scheme have implemented a number of measures including recycling, minimising energy consumption, encouraging wildlife, sourcing local supplies, choosing fair trade products and many more. The businesses are independently assessed and graded with gold, silver and bronze awards.’
And we hope to be covering the most successful of those businesses soon, because, let’s be frank, the south west depends on tourism, and the least we can do is make sure is that tourism works to maintain the environment and hopefully inspires others to realise the importance of environmental care. Now, which of you multi-millionaires are willing to offer Tony Blair a free holiday?
