Excitement is building in the heart of Plymouth’s Barbican with the launch of a new gallery and art exhibition.
Exhibition. 1 is being held at The Projects gallery, on New Street, after many months of hard toil.
It’s the brain baby of local artist Phillip Holmes who has, along with four other artists, created an awe-inspiring engine of artistic wonder.
I managed to get a sneaky peak last weekend and it is staggering – not just the ability of these guys but the sheer volume of work.
They have created a collection that displays each of their individual styles, using acrylic, oil-based and aerosol paints.
Exhibition. 1 will be open to the public from July 2-9, so all you lucky people (and you are lucky people) should get yourself down to the Barbican – sharpish.
To miss this opportunity would be crazy.
