Lookin’ for adventure
Like, dude. Do you use the term ‘groady‘ with a straight face? Do you sport bad shorts and a ridiculous beard?
If so, you’ll love the Nissan Adventure Film Festival at Plymouth’s Vue cinema next week.
Yes, Nissan is keeping the spirit of adventure alive by sponsoring the UK’s first digitally projected, nationwide adventure film festival, which is nice of them, isn’t it?
Running from September 11-15, the festy will bring adventure films to the mainstream with a five-night programme of award-winning flicks from the world’s top adventure producers.
Each of the nights will have a different theme, kicking off with an endurance night (where viewers have to sit through another showing of Superman Returns - possibly).
But if you’re more of a greedy beggar than a movie lover, you’ll be pleased to hear there’s also the chance to win a £30,000 Nissan Pathfinder, a holiday to Colorado, or one of many Columbia Sportswear jackets and National Geographic goodie bags.
Great news for those who enjoyed riding a dirty tube at the weekend (or whatever).
