MCR for Pavilions

October 11th, 2006

‘Don’t call us emo’ emo stars My Chemical Romance are heading to Plymouth Pavilions on Tuesday, March 20.

The tight-trousered rockers have been described as many things in their career, from ‘emo’, ‘indie’, ‘pop punk’ and ‘post-hardcore’ to ‘a bit shit actually’.

However, the band is very big with Ver Kids and their forthcoming album, The Black Parade, is expected to launch them on a massive scale.

In fact, the first single from the album landed in the UK Top 40 at No.23 - though that’s not really saying much when the newie from David Hunklehoff goes in at No.3, is it?

Either way, tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, October 13. Unlucky for some, indeed. Book yours online at www.plymouthpavilions.com.
