Something For The Weekend #4

SAY HULLO TO: Liquid Dogs
WHO ARE: Dan (guitars/vocals), Nath (bass/vocals), Matt (guitars) and Rich (drums/vocals)
PEDDLING: Widescreen Pro Tool rock
FROM THEIR BASE IN: Cornwall
THEY SAY: “It’s all going pretty damn well. Rock the fuck on!” or “a half-cut apricot Danish put through your favourite Warner Brothers mangle… A melodifying modern rock band with shit-hot musicians playing like they have athlete’s foot in their armypities.” Ahem.
WE SAY: The band’s obvious, erm, kookiness seems to have completely bypassed their tunes. Thank fuckery.
RANDOM LYRIC: “I’m finished with all this false discovery.”
NEED TO KNOW: They list some kinda embarrassing influences, including TOOL, Primus and King Crimson. Toldya they wuz kooks!

A big turn off

Why the heck should London get all the no power fun with the Blackout London Campaign? Us down here in the south west can show how climate savvy we are by taking a minimal view to energy today. Unplug the chargers, turn off the set-top boxes, switch off the light when you’re not in the room, put the heating down to 16 (wear a jumper you ninnies!) and do all that other stuff which you know you should but don’t. Stand up in the dark and be counted.

Turn off, switch off and unplug
