Environment info day

May 30th, 2007

To celebrate the start of Recycle Now Week - which kicks into action after half term, on June 2 - and includes World Environment Day (June 5), the Plymouth Environment Centre is holding an information day at St Matthias Church Hall (on the corner of Bedford Park and Clifton Place) North Hill, Plymouth on Saturday, from 11am to 4pm.

Of course there will be freebies for you to pick up, included low-engergy light bulbs - but there will be more besides - vegan food, childrens activities, film shows, live music, story-telling, and maybe a puppet show.

They say: ‘Come along for a jolly day out, celebrate world environment day, find out about climate change and recycling and what you can do, eat some food and make new friends.’

We say: ‘What they just said.’
