Hullo viewer! We thought you probably wanna check out part one of D+CFilm’s Richard Linklater and Eric Schlosser interview.
They’re yapping at some length about their grim-grub documentary Fast Food Nation which opens in Falmouth next Friday, Plymouth on June 15 and Exeter
on June 22.
Click this silly bit of red text to have a look. It’s finger-licking good!

‘An idiot,’ says Helen Smith of Mobile charity of MP Anthony Steen in the Guardian today, ‘who thinks he’s above the law.’
The Tory MP with the white shock of hair got two tickets for parking in a disabled bay at Newton Abbot train station. But his lack of apology and assertion that there are too many disabled spaces anyway is certainly a useful tactic.
People of the Republic, follow the MP’s lead - gorge yourself from others plates (there’s too many chips on there anyway); fill your pockets from shop tills (there’s too much money in there, anyway); and populate the empty properties that clog the South Hams (there’s too many second homes there anyway).
Hmm, that last one might just work… as long as Steen isn’t there already, or is it just the disadvantaged he objects to?

While we’d like to imagine the gay community of South Devon spends its online time hanging out at the People’s Republic, it’ll probably also have an interest in the new plymouthprideevent 2007 website as well.
The site offers a whole heap of information about this weekend’s Gay Pride shindig, which kicks off today with a day-long programme of free stuff in the Guildhall.
Expect a performance from boyband Code 5, as well as a Question Time-style debate and rodeo-bull riding (presumably not at the same time).
There’ll also be LGBT community support, advice, and information stands, as committee secretary Jan Netherton explains: “It is about bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate the diversity of people who live in the region.
“Through entertainments and learning opportunities, we are aiming to make Plymouth an area where lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people and communities can live, work, and celebrate life free from discrimination, prejudice, and fear.â€
Elsewhere, the Plymouth heat of Mr Gay UK will be held in Zeros nightclub, five-a-side footballers will compete for the Plymouth Diversity Cup at Marjon’s, and on the Sunday there’s a walk and picnic at Burrator.
Oh, and did we mention there’s lots and lots of karaoke nights and discos at various venues across the city? Good to see Plymouth’s landlords rejecting those gay stereotypes, eh viewers?
Still, it’s a massive step in the right direction, non?
