It’s Lunch time

There may be no such thing as a free lunch but there’s definitely a Freeluncher, and he’s mad as hell.

Yes, that’s the name of the guy behind Talking Liberties – a rather excellent bloggy site with a winning line in righteous outrage.

Described as ‘the witless prattle of a gas engineer in revolt’, Freeluncher’s loathing of ‘mendacity’ seems to rival even that of Big Daddy from Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, taking potshots at everyone from Howard Jacobson to the Plymouth Herald’s resident himbo Tristan ‘Bambi’ Nichols. Talk about picking on defenceless animals!

Indeed, Freeluncher’s ire makes us at the PRSD look like a buncha rheumy-eyed pragmatists (which is, of course, what we are). Click here to have a look.

  • Hey Thin White Duke, thanks for the mention!

I have to point out though, that ‘Bambi’ Nichols and Howard Jacobson are far from ‘defenceless animals’, having as they do the back up of their respective organs.

Maybe it’s time to reel in some of my ire, and put a link to some rheumy-eyed pragmatists(spit) on my Blogroll.

    In Peace and righteous fury
