Lottery funds

There are five groups in the Devon which are sharing around £2.6 million from the Big Lottery Fund. We have details of two, the Home-Start South Hams - Stepping Stones project and Exeter Nightstop (perhaps the Big Lottery Fund could shoot through details of the others?)

The Home-Start South Hams - Stepping Stones project offers help with problems of disability and low income and gives families one-to-one counselling on issues including childcare, housing advice, coping skills and positive parenting.

Exeter Nightstop, launched by Exeter Homeless Action Group offers emergency accommodation, a hot meal and a chance to wash as well as advice on housing issues plus links to support groups to help get youngster back with their families into long-term safe accommodation.
