Rotting borough

We all know Devon does well with recycling - remember, at the turn of the year figures were released saying the percentage of rubbish recycled in the Devon County Council area went up from 40.6 per cent to 45.7 per cent (the national average is 26 per cent).

And a Tavistock trial proves that the county can keep the recycling in its own back yard. Each week the town’s food waste is shuffled off to a processing plant in Newton Abbot.
A-ha, just goes to show that some of the talk about recycling isn’t just a load of methane - that’s hot air to you.
There’s more about recycling on the Recycle Devon site.
