leperfest

Our friends up in Taddiport are indulging in their fifth (almost) annual Leper Fest tonight. There will be music, dancing and a torchlit leper procession at 8pm. Why all this fetid fun?

Well, the town was established a leper colony back in the day, and powerhouse artist Shan Miller (enfant terrible of the Mid Devon Shire), thought it would be a ripping idea to resurrect.

To find out more, visit the Leper Fest website, and to join in, just turn up. (All funds go the leper charity LEPRA.)
