Hats off to educational facilities in the PRSD’s geographic footprint.
South Devon College picked up three top slots in the Beacon Awards given by the Association of Colleges. And PCAD made do with one. Granted, the categories don’t stir one’s heart with warm feelings, but we’re assured by pedagogues that they are ‘good things’ and are fundamental to the ‘educational process’.
Huzzah!
South Devon College shuffled off with the: Edge Award for Practical Teaching and Practical Learning
Eversheds Award for the Effective Use of Capital Development; and the FENC Award for the Creative Use, Adaptation and Delivery of Learning Resources.
And Plymouth College of Art and Design ran away clutching the CLA Award for Creativity in Writing, Art or Design
Oh, and South Devon College was also shorted listed for the Edexcel Award for Lifelong Learning. That’s a nice haul for anyone’s backpack.
