Split by a book

‘Tis World Book Week people, and as such we will celebrate first-time citizen author and some-time contributor to the PRSD, Luisa Plaja, whose teenage chick-lit book Split by a Kiss, is published this week.
Luisa told the PRSD: “The book’s about a teenage girl coming to terms with identity in a so-called post-feminist world. And snogging.”
But you don’t have to take her word for it, here are a bunch of reviews. One from BookBag; one from Chicklish; and one from author Amanda Ashby, who describes it as “Sliding Doors meets Clueless”.
You can buy it from the Book Despository with free world-wide postage.
If you know any local authors that we should take a look at, let us know (we won’t confine ourselves to a week).
(And remember we’ve got our fab Fairtrade giveaway.)
