Kolo go Stateside
April 1st, 2008
posted Cptn

The next UK band to make it big Stateside are set to be Exeter-based Kolo.
Kolo, with their distinctively English storytelling songs of eccentrics, will be kicking around the Country and Western capital Nashville for three months.
Nashville producer Sean Gasaway, who has been in contact with the band for a while, is the impetus behind the tour.
“Kolo will be huge in America as well as England,†said Sean. “They have a crossover style that will work well there,†he said.
Of course, we knew the strength of this band ages ago when they were in one of our Melting Pot Live sessions, filmed at Malcolm Toft’s Music Mill Studio, Newton Abbot.
