Climate action town

There are calls for those interested in starting up a Newton Abbot Climate Action Group to attend the launch of the town’s community action plan, which takes place at Bearnes School (next to Argos) on Saturday April 5, between 2pm and 6pm.
It seems that one of the aims of the community action plan is the setting up of such an environmental group (which may or may not be along the lines of the good work already undertaken by Bovey Climate Action).
The move follows on from the impetus started at The Last Polar Bear event at Coombeshead College.
