Hurrell at Viewpoint

April 9th, 2008

Mary Hurrell's work

A new exhibition from Mary Hurrell kicks of at the Viewpoint Gallery at PCAD this evening.

The work, according to Mary herself, is “sculpturally performative”, which sums up the mixture of sculpture, live performance, video and drawing with the use of all kinds of materials.

“For me colour and material are very important – they are my language. I chose materials that have a sensuality, by this I mean that they make the viewer feel them with the eye,” she says.

The show runs until April 19.
