Pensioners’ conference

The Winter Gardens, Weston-super-Mare

Pensioners from throughout the South West will debate a record 10 motions ranging from heating allowances to human rights in care homes at the South West TUC Pensioners’ Conference on Thursday (April 17), taking place at the Winter Gardens, Weston-super-Mare.

The conference will also hear from Dr Julia Verne, deputy regional director of Public Health and director of South West Public Health Observatory, TUC pensions officer Helen Evans and Paul Cann, the director of Help The Aged.

    Wow, very interesting that there would be a conference about health, with the public health observatory. It would be very nice if could have attended it.
