Apparently, “discussions will help shape the final detail of the Marine Bill, announced this spring and which will be introduced in 2009″, and more than 100 delegates will pootle along to the sea-front setting.
According to the press release: “The Bill will be the single most important piece of legislation to help safeguard the marine environment, and the people who use it. Devon Maritime Forum believes that it will present the south west with unique opportunities for our coastal towns and economies.”

The Wrap-pers (Waste & Resources Action programme-ers) have created an online database for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to find appropriate local recycling service providers.
Sarah Downes, WRAP’s English regions manager, to the PRSD: “Many SMEs want to recycle their waste but find it difficult to find appropriate recycling services, which means good recyclable materials are going to landfill.”
For further information on recycling at work, or to request for details of your recycling service to be added to the database, contact Wrap on 01295 819689 or email: dany.novello@wrap.org.uk
