The Legend of Aranrhod

The Farringdon Society of Arts has had its hand in an award winning marketing coup for self-published author Geoff Anderson.

Geoff picked up the first prize in the self-published novel marketing award for his book the Legend of Aranrhod, organised by the David St John Thomas Charitable Trust (that’s the David of David and Charles, the Newton Abbot-based book publisher that’s now part of the Reader’s Digest group).

Last October the FSA held the Devon launch of the book. It was held at Bishop’s Court near Exeter. FSA artists, including Imogen Hallam, the cover artist of the book, took part in the creative launch held in Devon and Geoff spent seven years at Exeter University many years ago.

Janet Sawyer, FSA chair, told the PRSD: “We hope now that Geoff will go on to meet the huge success that he deserves with his Legend. It would make a fantastic film. Perhaps a large marketing company will approach him once the prize is featured in the next edition of Writer’s News.”
