Comic workshop

If you’ve got the occasional monster clawing to get out then it might be worthwhile directing your unleashed ‘power within’ into a comic book.

Future contributor to the PRSD Phil Symes is holding a comic book workshop for students between the radioactive ages of nine -14 on Saturday June 21.
The day, which is in conjunction with the Farringdon Society of Arts, will be sharpening its pencils, un-waxing its crayons and crrrrrunching!!! into action from 10am to 4pm at Farringdon Village Hall.

According to the blurb: “In the morning, Phil will be sharing tips on designing and drawing comic book characters, and in the afternoon workshoppers will split into creative teams and each team will produce its own mini comic book! This is the perfect opportunity for young drawing enthusiasts to improve their drawing skills, learn about how a comic book page is put together, meet and work together with other young creative people, and most importantly have fun.”

The price for the workshop is £20. This includes tuition and all artists’ materials. Numbers are limited so you are asked phone in advance to reserve your place. Call Phil’s on 07791 061326.

And remember, don’t make me angry, you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry, I get even more snippy.
