With the sad news that the Reel Cinema in Plymouth – which we will always call the Lemanis picturehouse – is set to close down, we thought we’d bring you news that the famous psychedelic funksters – that’s Lemanis – have got a big gig coming up at the White Rabbit, Plymouth, on July 26.

We got hold of a secret mission by the band, which asks acolytes to send the paragraph below to all those who are into music

“Hello. On July 26th I’m going to see Lemanis and the World/Inferno Friendship Society at the White Rabbit. It’s a fiver to get in but if you’re on the mailing list you get a pound off. Get on the mailing list by going to www.lemanis.net and signing up to the members room, it only takes a few seconds.”

There’s also a chance to get their first album, Shell, at half price (that’s £5 to you), the funds of which will hasten the release of the second album.
