Bite size food production
posted by Cptn
Art-er, farm-er and South Devon blogg-er Mopsa, has been spitting cheese (bleurgh) at the attitude that big is always beautiful in terms of food production.
The conclusion, “small scale operations produce stuff that just can’t be bettered” and “we need both” (although it was put more elegantly), seems eminently sensible in terms of fighting the a sprawling grey homogenity of food, culture and thought.
Now for the usual mantra of buy local, buy ethical and be part of a healthy society.
