the former new shopping centre in exeter

Friends of the Earth got in touch with an insight on proposed changes to the make up of your local town centre, and with Exeter dubbed as Clone City UK, and the transformation of former market towns into supermarket towns, we thought their words were incredibly pertinent.

“The Government has finally launched its consultation on new planning policy for town centres (PPS6).,” Friends of the Earth told PRSD. “Their proposals have been billed as a boost to small shops - but on closer inspection they reveal further support of the supermarket takeover.”
