The lost bank holiday

posted by Cptn

If you’re wondering what to do this bank holiday, then you can keep wondering. A search revealed.. err… nothing other than the superb line up on offer at Oddfest (Oddicombe beach from noon).

So much for those much-lauded events sites, and so much for the Express & Echo’s claim that tourist Euros are now swelling the coffers - what do they do when they get here? Take the bank holiday off? Now we know there’s the Oddfest, with even more top bands added to the line up. Here’s Memo live at the Torquay Oxjam, 2006.

Oh, and there’s sheep-shearing at the Lustleigh show.
• Or, you could make up headlines for the local press - there’s no beating this pithy, witty headline from the Herald Express, oh, we’re being saracastic
