Bigots aim at Europe (again)
August 26th, 2008

The BNP will be targeting Devon in the run-up to next year’s European elections, according to the Express and Echo.
The vile tub-thumpers of prejudice (that’s the BNP) have been increasing their profile lately, standing in council elections, distributing newsletters and, as the Echo reports, holding ‘a secret BNP rally in Broadclyst, near Exeter, attended by around 100 members as well as party leader Nick Griffin.’
They stood in the last Euro-election, but on that occasion the bitter, small minded, ill-informed, cantankerous vote was claimed by UKIP.
And the last time they got a sniff of ‘representation’ in the south west in ended in the farce - the co-option and rejection of Peter Pirnie at Kingswear Parish Council.
