Companies which are taking steps to reduce their environmental impact have got until Tuesday October 7 if they want to get their entries into the DEBI – that’s the Devon Environmental Business Initiative – awards.
The competition is open to all companies, organisations and community groups which have taken, or are taking steps, to minimise their environmental impact. And there four categories in this year’s DEBI competition which, according to the press release, ‘gives businesses more than one bite of the environmental cherry’ (whatever that means).
The categories are: Carbon Reduction, Sustainable Tourism, Greening Devon and Food and Farming.
For more details and an entry form visit the Debi website or call 08452 573324.
