The Joy Collective, a new vanguard creative movement which has captured the talents of 13 of the region’s top artists, is gearing into action with its first live show at the Exeter Phoenix on Thursday November 6.
The one-hour Joy Collective showcase will feature new work by seven visual artists, three choreographers, one filmmaker all with a live soundtrack.
The JC crew will take over the Phoenix’s main auditorium as they ‘fuse the traditional formats of the visual art exhibition, motion picture and live performance in their own unique attempt to demonstrate the relevance, range and power of art in the 21st century’. Now that’ s a claim and a half.
Take a gander at who these joyfully collected types are and work out if you can imagine what would be in store. Our advice is catch them now, before these guys break box offices with their UK and world tours in 2009/10.
