David James shows support for National Tree week

posted by Cptn

Who doesn’t love trees? But some love them more than others, and England goalkeeping ace David James will show just how much he loves trees when he hugs one in Exeter on Monday.

But this is more than just a story about getting wood, there’s a whole carbon footprint issue going on, and James, who modified his car to run on rapeseed oil, is keen to get the environmental message across.

He’ll be hugging the best looking tree in Bull Meadow Park, Exeter, between 11am and 2pm on Monday.

National Tree Week runs until December 8.
