Plymouth arts and enterprise

Art and enterprise go together shark and formaldehyde, so it’s no surprise that an arty lot from Plymouth University are peddling their original wares of artwork, limited edition prints, posters, t-shirts, animations and many other 2D and 3D works in Drake Circus, Plymouth.

Student Donya Todd told the PRSD: “The idea of opening a shop to sell illustration came when we were thinking of ways to raise money to support our final year exhibition at the Free Range Art& Design showcase in London. Free Range is the largest Graduate Creative Showcase in Europe and it is important that we are there”.

Another student Ben Quick said: “The Drake’s Circus exhibition gives us a great opportunity to make contacts with local businesses who may not have thought about how they can use illustration and creative design within their business or to generate new business.”
