If you fancy braving the weather for a bundle full of laughs, head over the The B-bar at Plymouth’s Barbican for the first of this year’s monthly comedy nights tonight.
This evening feature Pierre Hollins, of whom the blurb conveniently says: “His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing. His ‘songs’ are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat, never travelling down the easy route of song parodies. He covers topics from love and hate, to sex and politics with a totally original voice, delivering his material with charm and irrelevance.”
He’s supported by Scott Denyer, Mark Restuccia and MC is Phil Eggins. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts 8.30pm. Admission is £8 or £7 concessions to book call the box office on 01752 242021. But we are told: “Booking doesn’t guarantee a seat – so get here early!”
