Vote on your top ten books to Spread the Word for World Book Day

Check out the Spread the Word top ten books, to pick your winner for World Book Day.

Devon reading groups have named their shortlist for the Spread the Word campaign – part of World Book Day – which have been collated to a national top ten books for people to read, get together to share their ideas (preferably loudly in the local library) and vote on their favourite.

You can vote and comment on the books on the Spread the Word site. Voting closes at noon on Friday, February 27. The winner will be announced on World Book Day, Thursday, March 5.

The books are (in no particular order):

Bad Traffic by Simon Lewis
Catch a Fish from the Sea (Using the Internet) by Nasreen Akhtar
Fifteen Modern Tales of Attraction by Alison MacLeod
Imagine This by Sade Adeniran
Random Deaths and Custard by Catrin Dafydd
Season of the Witch by Natasha Mostert
The Fantastic Book of Everybody’s Secrets by Sophie Hannah
The Opposite of Love by Julie Buxbaum
Vicky Had One Eye Open by Darryl Samaraweera
Wild by Jay Griffiths
