Aeon festival takes on sci-fi theme for August music festival

We’ve intercepted an interplanetary telecast (well, almost) that this year’s Aeon festival, which takes place over August bank holiday for three days of rockin’ good times, will have a sci-fi adventure theme.

More technical details include that there will be three stages, a cinema tent and chill out space, a children’s area with art workshops, a forest school, a puppet theatre (don’t tell Torbay Mayor Nick Bye) and a play space, plus a new urban stage featuring HipHop, Breakdancing, MC and graffiti crews.

And if that isn’t enough there will be a busker’s corner where all wannabe songsters can have their 15 minutes of fame and raise money for charity at the same time.

That’s all we know, but for more details you can teleport over to the Aeon festival site or join their Aeon 2009 Facebook group.

Now, beam me up, Scottie.
