BNP secret meeting in Exeter, but don’t mention the food

The BNP held a secret meeting in Exeter at the weekend after their attempt at a black tie bash at Broadclyst Victory Hall had the kibosh put on it.

The party claimed more than 100 people attended this secret event.

And with reference to the cancelled Broadclyst affair, Michael Turner, the party’s South West elections officer, told the Express and Echo: “The lady who organised the food was really upset when she heard it had been called off.”

Ah, the dizzying heights of political debate.

• Sushi or sausage rolls – what would you serve at a BNP do?
