The latest issue of arts+culture magazine has been launched, and there’s an opportunity for artists to promote themselves and get on the cover of a future issue of the magazine by entering a free competition.
arts+culture magazine aims to promote new and emerging talent within the creative industries particularly from Devon and the South West through an ‘on-demand’ printed magazine, as well as online formats (website and podcasts) and for those who like their news on the go, an optimised mobile phone browsing service.
The competition calls for artists to design a 125×125 pixel ad to go on the arts+culture website – within that format anything goes (although legality and a certain amount of discretion presides). And the image can be linked to the artist’s own site.
(The brave among you could even try your hand at the 155 x 1260 pixels. Banner designs should have a self-contained credit, and won’t be linked.)
The artist with the top designs will be featured on the cover of a future cover of arts+culture magazine, as well as on the website.
Send your design, links and a brief biography to arts@newsandmediarepublic.org by Tuesday, April 30.
