We’ve found out a little bit more about the background to this job. According to the Herald Express, the previous incumbent, Becca Adams, resigned after she gave evidence against a Tory councillor Jeanette Richards, who was accused of disrespecting an officer.
The paper says Becca claimed she was ‘targeted by councillors’ and’ living in fear of the next conspiracy theory’ against her.
