Celebrate May Day for free in Plymouth with Plymouth TUC

Celebrate May Day with a free day-time event in Plymouth Guildhall from 11am to 5pm. There will be stalls, live music and DJs (with two stages, one inside and one outside the Guildhall), meetings, food, speakers include Kate Hudson of CND and Jeremy Dear, NUJ General Secretary, a local theatre group, a children’s room (including entertainments) and a cheap bar.

Plus, you can enjoy a post parandial – there will be a march around the city centre, celebrating International Workers Day, leaving the Guildhall at 1pm.

And there’s even an evening concert, featuring Chumbawamba and Farrah. Tickets are £10 in advance. Check out the Plymouth TUC’s website for more details.
