Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team and Devon Wildlife Trust to host free workshop

The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team and Devon Wildlife Trust are hosting a free workshop to show gardeners how to create a haven for birds, butterflies, bees and bugs in their backyards.

The event, at Hemyock parish hall on May 2, will be led by the trust’s Kate Yeo.

She said: “Even if you only have a tiny bit of outdoor space you can still attract wonderful wildlife.

“None of the ideas are expensive, and with everyone’s finances squeezed what could be better than being able to enjoy your own garden buzzing with life?”

Places are free but numbers are limited so booking is essential on 01823 680682.
