All’s well for Urban Sketcher James Hobbs in Torcross, Devon

Urban Sketcher and writer and illustrator James Hobbs visited Torcross, at the end of Slapton Sands, Devon.

James has been shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize, he’s the former editor of Artists and Illustrator magazine and his work is always on show at the Skylark Galleries, on London’s South Bank.

Urban Sketcher is a cross-border, multi-levelled group of artists from around the world who draw the cities they live and travel to.

The site itself is by invitation only, but there’s also a Flickr group, where anyone can share their location drawings. Seems a spiffing idea.

For more details visit the Urban Sketcher blog.
