Street cleaners in Teignbridge have collected more than 220 bags of rubbish from Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, despite, apparently, being one of the cleanest places in the country.
To prove a point, rather than forebode a summer of discontent (but who knows), the Tidy Teignbridge campaign created a mountain out of that litter at Teignmouth.
And even though there’s a whole ’70s-vibe going on at the moment, this mountain won’t be staying there till the next Conservative election victory.
The message, pick up your rubbish.
