Oh, the joy of South Devon – well, Teignbridge to be exact. Apparently the people who live there are among the happiest in the country, and they are especially happy with their bin collection. With temperatures set to rise again this week, offices and workplaces are sure to get even stickier and more uncomfortable – but you’re just going to have to stick it out because there’s no maximum workplace temperature. Everything’s going to be all white… the women of the Women are Revolting are holding an art action/flash mob event at Bedford Square, Exeter High Street, on 11am, Saturday, July 4. The wonderfully titled Dreamscheme project in Tiverton aims to get youngsters reaping the rewards community work. Helen Boyles, member of the Moor Poets, took part in the midsummer inspiration project. She got in touch with her picture and words, and her poem that accompanies the image We wanted to celebrate Midsummer Day in some special way, and so on Saturday afternoon decided to sail upriver from our home near Galmpton The new roles of Devon County Councillors has been decided.
