
Exeter MP and Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw, who is visiting the Exeter Northcott theatre today, said that “a deep strain of homophobia still exists on the Conservative benches”.
He was reacting to news that a new poll suggested gay people would vote Conservative in the next general election.
He told the BBC: “I hope that people in the lesbian, gay and transgender community will closely examine the Conservatives’ record on this and David Cameron’s record in particular, which is not good.”
And said: “A deep strain of homophobia still exists on the Conservative benches”.

Sounds more like Ben trying a cheap politcal stunt more than anything as he realises that Labour are doomed. I am sure that there is still a lingering homophobia among some conservative members, just as there is in society as a whole, including The Labour party too.
Personally I declare myself an unashamed Bradshawphobic as the poor deluded man just cant help talking rubbish at every opportunity.
Bradshaw is pro-war. He voted to kill Iraqis.
