Devon Wildlife Trust opens heath for East Devon Heath Week

East Devon Heath Week has come round again… and to celebrate, the Devon Wildlife Trust will have a special open day at its flagship heathland nature reserve at Bystock, near Exmouth, on Tuesday, July 28.

You don’t have to be a member of the charity to enjoy the guided walks around the site, which forms part of the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths SSSI, but it helps.

During hte event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, there will also be displays, kids’ activities and refreshments (and a chance to find out more about the work of the trust and the places it protects).

East Devon Heath Week runs from July 26 to July 31 .

To book a place on one of the walks, call Devon Wildlife Trust on 01392 279244. For more information visit the Devon Wildlife Trust’s site.
