Help get the Newton Abbot community garden in tip-top shape with the construction of a wildlife pond, the creation of a tree nursery and riverbank maintenance during Dig For Newton on Saturday, September 26 between 10am and 5pm. You can also fill your belly from the free barbecue.
The Dig for Newton event is organised by Transition Newton Abbot.
Just an hour or two of digging could really make a difference to the community garden near Baker’s Park which will be open to all to enjoy once it is completed.
For more details, check out the Transition Newton Abbot website or the community garden blog itself.
