Accident-prone Teignbridge wannabe Tory MP Anne Marie Morris, who mistakenly claimed someone who stood for the Devon County Council elections was a Communist (for shame), has been publishing more dodgy details.
Anne Marie has been in the news again because she printed the wrong telephone numbers for Newton Abbot Hospital and NHS Direct, but the number was wrong in the Yellow Pages and a number of websites, too, apparently.
She said: “Surely with a one billion pound budget there should be enough managers and administrators at Devon PCT to ensure that, what I assume is Devon PCT’s own advertisement in the latest edition of Yellow Pages, carried the correct hospital telephone numbers.”
According to the NHS she also made other mistakes about 24-hour cover at community hospitals and that her comment that the x-ray service was available on a Bank Holiday was misleading because it never has been available.

Good to see that she is so completely in touch with her potential constituency!!
Not the brightest bulb anyway if the recent interview on ‘Spotlight’ is anything to go by. Referring to the concerns of ‘my constituents’ (not potential contituents, note) led me to check if she is a current councillor. According to the TDC website apparently not.
