Teignbridge Strategic Partnership 'making a real difference' plus you could win £100!

A community consultation exercise is taking place in Teignbridge, with the chance of winning £100 if you return your questionnaire, according to the Devon Week.

It’s all being organised by the Teignbridge Strategic Partnership, a council-run project which ‘which brings together public, private and voluntary organisations to achieve outcomes that can make a real difference to communities, is looking forward to plans over the next 20 years. By working in partnership to develop a long-term shared vision for Teignbridge’s future, the TSP aims to improve the quality of life for everyone in the district’.

Previous projects carried out by the TSP as a direct result of local views have included starting rural exercise sessions in village halls, the creation of the ‘Making It Happen’ small grants fund for local community groups, the inception of the Teignbridge Community Awards, and the provision of a new NHS dental practice in Newton Abbot.

The new community consultation exercise runs until October 30th, aiming to identify the important actions which should be taken to benefit everyone who lives and works in Teignbridge. It is available online, at roadshows around the district in October, or by telephoning 01626 215872.
