Exposure by Exmouth's Mal Peet wins Guardian children's fiction prize

Exmouth author Mal Peet has picked up the Guardian children’s fiction prize for Exposure.

According to the Guardian, it’s a modern retelling of Othello, in which the Moor of Venice and his wife Desdemona are transformed into the South American equivalent of Posh and Becks.

There’s a Guardian’s interview with him and take a gander at the other books on prize list.
